What We Do

The ELC PTO is very active in fundraising in order to provide a variety of enrichment programs for the students throughout the school year.   Parents and siblings are always welcome at our Enrichment Events!  We also recognize all the wonderful teachers and staff during Teachers’ Week with a luncheon and gifts to show our appreciation for all their hard work and commitment to our kids.  A handful of our favorite repeat enrichment activities are listed below to give you an idea of what sorts of activities we coordinate.  There is also a calendar below for you to reference and add to your calendar if you’d like..

Cindy Tuminelli, with Tunes for Tots, will lead our children in music fun throughout the year.

Rick Morin, of the Rhythm Room, is scheduled for visits the 1st (Rooms 1, 2, 4 & 7) and 3rd (Rooms 3, 5 & 6) Wednesday of each month. http://www.rhythmroomlive.com/rrenrichment/

North Attleboro Fire Department typically comes to discuss Fire Safety.

Children, young and old, will enjoy a visit from Animal Experiences with Dave Marchetti http://www.bestanimalexperiencesbydave.com

Pumpernickel Puppets, We love the large wonderful puppets that tell exciting tales to the kids!  www.pumpernickelpuppets.com

The Bubble Man is most beloved at the ELC!  He will amaze all kids, young and old, with his amazing bubble skills!  http://www.mikethebubbleman.com/

Spirit Day- On Spirit day the students are invited to wear their ELC/North/red shirts and donate a dollar or other item to a local cause to demonstrate school and community spirit.  We frequently donate to: Lenore’s Pantry,  the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, our own school nurse’s student supplies and others.

Signing with MJ is a wonderful, interactive program that teaches kids about sign language and how to do some basic signs.

All About Farming!  Miss Kate from Langwater Farm in Easton, MA teaches the kids some farming and gardening basics to help care and watch our raised garden beds.  The kids may plant a seedling to take home!

We are very excited for new enrichment programs and events we plan to add this year.  Stay tuned for details!
