President, Kate Vezina,

FullSizeRender (1)Hi there! I feel very fortunate to be serving as your PTO President this year. I first became involved with the PTO when my daughter (now in third grade at Martin) was lucky enough to attend the ELC. My oldest son is a recent graduate and is now entering Kindergarten, and my youngest son (almost 4 years-old) is so excited to finally get his turn at this wonderful school. He’ll be in Mrs. Guilfoy’s AM class.

When I’m not donating my time to the PTO or trying to keep the noise level at my house to a dull roar, I am working as a medical writer, drinking too much coffee, running, and practicing yoga. I am so excited for what is sure to be a fantastic school year, and look forward to giving back to our amazing and dedicated ELC teachers and staff. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime during the school year if you have questions, concerns, or ideas. Here’s to a wonderful 2016-17!

Vice President/Newsletters & Flyers, Bill Meyer

Secretary/Co-Classroom Coordinator, Tania Swieder

Hi, My name is Tania Swieder and I am your 2016-2017 PTO secretary.  I have lived in North Attleboro since I was 3. This is my son’s second year at the ELC, and my second year as treasurer, but I have been working behind the scenes with them since 2001. My godson is a proud graduate and I love seeing my son bloom here as well. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all of us.

When I’m not typing up Minutes for the PTO or chasing around my little guy, I work as a Nurse for the Sheriff’s office. I also enjoy crafting and running on local trails. This year is going to be a GREAT year at the ELC!

Co-Treasurer, Rory Bloom,

unspecifiedHello! This will be my family’s last year at the ELC, so I decided to join the PTO to give back to the school for providing my kids with such great educational and social experiences. I am a transplant from Sharon, MA and am a lucky father of 1 girl and 2 boys.  I work in the medical device industry and also coach various sports for my kids throughout the year. I am looking forward to making some positive contributions to the ELC for this coming year.

Hi there!  I am so thrilled to be involved with the PTO this year.  My husband and I are North Attleboro lifers and love raising our kids in this town.  This is our 3rd year at the ELC.  My son, Owen, just moved on the kindergarten but my daughter Emma is starting this year and I’m sure my youngest will get there soon enough.  My background is speech-language pathology but I’ve been a stay at home mom since Owen was born. Looking forward to a great and successful year!

Fundraising Coordinator, Christina Roderick    Displaying

Hello! I was born and raised in North Attleboro and am the mother of Nolan, 6, and Landon, 4.  This is Landon’s second year at the ELC.  I work full time for Stryker Corporation.  I am returning as the fundraising coordinator for the ELC PTO.  I have experience raising funds for a non-profit pediatric cancer foundation, The Izzy FOundation, and I’m to continue supporting the PTO in our fundraising efforts for enrichment programs.

Enrichment Coordinator/School Directory, Nicole Romano

Hello! I am super excited to be a part of the ELC PTO this year. My family loves the ELC and I am happy to donate time and energy in support of a school that does so much for our children and community. I am responsible for coordinating the amazing enrichment programs here at the ELC. Additionally I create and distribute the school directory.
My husband and I moved to North Attleboro from Boston in 2007. We had friends living in the area and once we started visiting we knew North was the place for us. Our son Nathan (9) & daughter Jordan (7) are both ELC alumni. Our youngest daughter, Reagan (4) is attending her final year here at the ELC. While we are already feeling sentimental about leaving this amazing place behind, we are very much looking forward to this terrific year ahead.

Box Tops Coordinator/Co-Classroom Coordinator, Sue Hamm

My son Parker, just moved onto Kindergarten at Community and my youngest son Logan will be in room 7am.  I am returning as the Box Tops Coordinator, Classroom Coordinator and Co-Coordinator for Teacher Appreciation Week.  I am looking forward for what is sure to be a fantastic school year!

School Store, Sarah Stone,

image1.JPG Hi fellow parents, I’m Sarah Stone, and this year I’m responsible for getting you gear for all your school spirit needs through the school store! Order online or visit one of our pop-up stores (follow the Facebook page for dates and info), to purchase ELC shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, or decals to show your school spirit!
A little about me, I’m originally from
Vermont, but have lived in a number of places, most recently, Kansas City. Thankfully, a job opportunity for my husband a few years ago brought our family back to New England, and we’re now happy to call North Attleboro home. We have two boys – Andrew (4) will be in room 6A this year, and my youngest, Alex (2), will be joining the ELC next year. I’m happy to be a part of the ELC’s PTO this year and look forward to great 2016-2017 school year!
